The Company

Phase2 Microwave has been formed by members of the former Phase Devices and Com Dev Wireless team with the aim of filling a market need for European made microwave components and Satcom Systems. Our aim is to supply well designed products at the right price and at the right time.

We are working closely with Alroy Microwave and Electronics in a mutually advantageous partnership.

Phase2 Microwave brings advanced electrical and mechanical design techniques in filters, diplexers and other microwave components.

Alroy Microwave are known for their high quality waveguide manufacturing capability and operate an ISO 9001 quality system. They also have supplier approvals from many defense and commercial companies. Depending on the type of contract either Phase2 or Alroy can take the lead role.

Areas of expertise include:

• RF and Microwave Filters in coax, waveguide and dielectric. Over thirty years experience and many groundbreaking designs.
• Microwave Coaxial and Waveguide Components.
• RF Subsystems including receiver front ends.
• Diplexer/LNAs.
• Satcom Networks.

Facilities

Phase2 Microwave use the best available design, and manufacturing techniques to provide microwave components and systems which achieve high performance at reasonable cost. By using extensive microwave CAD techniques prototypes are not usually required. This includes;

• advanced synthesis techniques and circuit design
• mode matching and full wave EM CAD
• 3D Mechanical CAD and Thermal Simulation
• Computer Aided Tune and Test

Mechanical CAD and Thermal Simulation

Devices and systems are modelled using 3D parametric CAD	A thermal simulation package links to the 3D CAD to allow accurate thermal modelling.

Procurement

We have close links with world class manufacturing companies in China and for quantities greater than 100 we can provide a very cost effective product.

Test Facilities

Phase2 Microwave have computer controlled 3GHz, 6GHz and 40 GHz Vector Network Analysers for test. A full range of waveguide test benches are available from WG10 to WG22.

Microprocessor controlled and manual ovens are available for temperature cycling with a range from -56 to +90 deg C. We also have facilities for testing at liquid nitrogen temperatures.
